Homelessness is a national crisis. Fill out our form to learn how Riverside elected officials used Pallet as a rapid solution.
Riverside had more than 400 people living unsheltered in the city in January 2020. Elected officials were seeking a rapid solution for its residents facing homelessness. Handling the situation like a crisis, in just four days the Riverside community transformed a parking lot into an emergency shelter community with 30 shelters. The Riverside Cabin Village has four ADA-compliant units, dining areas, showers, restrooms, a pet area, bike racks, and a resource center for program participants. Plus, residents have access to 24-hour wraparound services.
I wish they had this when I was homeless with my kids, because we slept in the car.
– Kaneesa, Riverside Resident
