Winter leaves unhoused people vulnerable to hypothermia. Government officials can set up temporary, quick-build Pallet shelters to help – before temperatures drop. Pallet shelter villages serve as a solution to moving people off freezing streets and onto the path to permanent housing.
Pallet shelters are always part of our innovative village model. Inside a village, Pallet shelters serve families, couples, or individuals. Our shelters are insulated and heated for even the coldest nights. Just connect to an existing grid or generator to get started.
Pallet shelter villages are built and proven in cold winter climates like Boston, MA, where temperatures drop well below 0ºF on chilly winter nights.
Our Research and Development team partnered with SGC North America, a leading independent testing lab in Denver, CO. We set out to scientifically document the thermal performance and efficiency of our emergency shelters.
Here are some of our findings:
Our shelter with a 4500w heater and 1.5” thick insulating walls can maintain the HUD dignity and comfort standard of 68ºF inside the shelter when outside temps drop to –20ºF.
Our Heavy Duty (HD) structural shelter can handle snow loads of up to 50 lbs./sq.ft. and winter wind gusts up to 170 mph.

We offer four main configurations of our sleeping shelters, each tailored to a different climate. Additionally, all our shelters come complete with a weatherproofing system that seals connection points during assembly to eliminate drafts and water leaks.
