At Pallet, we build short-term shelter, versatile community rooms, and private-stall bathrooms. Pallet structures are panelized to be built fast, at scale. A large interim housing community can be set up in a matter of days with minimal tools. Each Pallet structure is versatile; units can be used for a variety of purposes – from sheltering evacuees, to building command and support centers, or for temporary housing for recovery workers.
Pallet structures are designed to rapidly address the housing and resource needs of disaster survivors. We prioritize creating safe spaces for anyone in a traumatic transitional moment. Securing permanent replacement housing takes time and a massive affordable housing stock, which most cities lack. Pallet structures fill the gap between post-disaster congregate shelters, and long-term permanent housing.
Disaster survivors who live alone, with a pet, or with a partner can shelter in Shelter 64 – our 64 sq. ft. unit.
Up to four people can sleep in bunk beds in the Shelter 100. Shelters have locking doors for security.
Support the on-site incident management team with a space to coordinate resources.
Build medical personnel a facility or individual offices to provide proper medical care for the sick and injured.
Distribute food or create a dining hall with our large Community Room, which starts at 400 sq. ft.
Use the Community Room as a facility to take care of kids while guardians begin to rebuild or find other.
Reunite disaster survivors with family members, friends, and lost pets at a designated relocation area.
As donations roll in, use a Pallet Community Room or Shelter to store clothes, non-perishable food, and more.
Hand out baby formula, water bottles, and more from designated supply facilities.
Disasters are a traumatic experience. We prioritize creating private and safe spaces for anyone. From private sleeping cabins with lockable doors to emergency management team offices, our rapid-build products can give everyone peace of mind.
